Global Footsteps is an intercultural relations and sustainability charity. We have the potential to be a hosting, sending and coordinating organization. As HO we would welcome volunteers interested in events organization locally in Chelterham and internationally. As SE we would be able to find British volunteers especially to teach English. As CO we may be able to place volunteers with other groups/projects in Chelterham.
Morgan will need to work out weather if it's possible for Global Steps to join EVS. It mostly depends on the amount of work that goes into it and whether he can fit it around his other work. Morgan is interested to meet with any UK contact involved with EVS

* presentation materials about your organisation /we have all technical equipment - notebooks, digital camera, video camera, overhead projector, access to internet etc.
* good shoes and clothes for winter weather - right now it is quite cold here: -5 degrees at night and + 5 degrees during the day. It could could happen that we will have snow during training :)
* swimming suit
* good mood and power to cooperate and create new friendships :)

Travel details

From Bratislava airport:

take the bus number 61 to Bratislava – hlavná stanica /Bratislava main train station), it is the final station, the ticket costs 1,5 euro, and you have to buy this ticket before to get on the bus in a machine, it takes 25 min (buses are every 30 min)
take a train to Čadca: journey takes 3 hours and you have to change trains in Žilina:
* IC – you have to buy special seat reservation
* The price is between 11 – 15€
* You have to buy a ticket in the Bratislava main train station

From Vienna airport:

take the bus EUROLINES to Bratislava – airport /Bratislava letisko), it is the final stop, rhw ticket costs 7,70 euro, and you have to buy this ticket before get on the bus in a EUROLINES office at Vienna airport, it takes 60 min (buses are every 30 mins)
take a train to Čadca: journey takes 3 hours and you have to change trains in Žilina:
* IC – you have to buy special ticket
* The price is between 11 – 15€
* You have to buy a ticket in Bratislava main train station

From Žilina airport:

take the bus to Žilina – železničná stanica /Žilina train station), you can buy this ticket on the bus, it takes 15 min
take a train to Čadca: journey takes 30 min
* The price is 1,5 €
* You have to buy a ticket in Žilina train station
